Craft Bay – Parent & Holiday Camp Policy
Last updated: November 2025

At Craft Bay, we believe creativity helps children feel loved, calm, and confident.
Our holiday camps and workshops are designed to give children a joyful space to create, play, and make meaningful things — while feeling supported and safe.
Every activity is guided by friendly and experienced staff who love helping kids discover their imagination.
1. Enrolment & Payment
-
Parents can register through our online booking form or by email at contact@craftbay.com.au.
-
Once your booking is received, we’ll send a confirmation email and invoice.
-
Your child’s place is secured only after payment is received.
-
All fees are listed clearly before you confirm your booking.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
For one-day holiday camps, we're unable to offer refunds. However, you're welcome to transfer your spot to a friend — just let us know their details.
-
If Craft Bay must cancel due to weather, illness, or emergencies, you’ll receive a full refund or option to reschedule.
3. Health & Allergies
-
Parents must inform Craft Bay of any allergies, medical needs, or health concerns at least 48 hours before the session.
-
Our materials are non-toxic and child-safe, but we always take extra care with children who have allergies.
-
Please pack any required medication (clearly labelled) and inform staff during sign-in.
-
Craft Bay staff cannot administer medication unless authorised in writing by the parent or guardian.
4. Supervision & Safety
-
All Craft Bay staff and volunteers hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
-
We maintain a safe and positive environment, with a ratio that allows children to be closely supported.
-
Activities involve only age-appropriate materials and tools.
5. Drop-Off & Pick-Up
-
Parents or authorised guardians must sign children in and out each day.
-
Only people listed on the registration form may collect the child.
-
If someone different will pick up your child, please inform us in writing or by phone before pick-up time.
-
Please drop off and pick up your child on time.
6. Behaviour & Respect
We encourage kindness, respect, and creativity in every session.
-
Children are expected to follow instructions and treat others with care.
-
Some of our activities involve the use of tools such as needles and scissors. Safety is our top priority, and all children will be guided through proper use and expected to follow instructions. Any unsafe behavior may result in removal from the activity. By booking, you agree to allow your child to participate and release us from liability for any injuries that may occur during the session.
-
If a child’s behaviour disrupts the group or creates safety concerns, parents may be contacted to pick them up early.
-
We always handle issues with understanding and gentle communication.
7. Photography & Privacy
-
We love sharing the fun moments from our workshops on social media! We never show faces—only the beautiful crafts and little hands at work. If you’d prefer your child not be photographed, just let us know.
8. What to Bring
-
A labelled water bottle
-
Morning Tea, Afternoon Tea, Lunch box (no nuts, please)
