Why It Matters
Through working with many OSHC centres, we have seen very different environments — from well-resourced spaces to centres with only basic facilities.

This taught us one important thing:
a child’s creativity and joy should never be limited by their surroundings.
Craft Bay brings the same level of high-quality creative experience into any space, so every child can enjoy the freedom and pride of making something meaningful.
Meet the Creator Behind Craft Bay — Claire Guo
Craft Bay was lovingly created by Claire Guo, a passionate designer, artist, and devoted mother of two — a boy and a girl — who deeply understands how children think, feel, and grow.
Before founding Craft Bay, Claire spent over 10 years designing computer games for children aged 7–14, including a successful title that reached over 10,000 concurrent users. Alongside her digital career, she is also an experienced data analyst and a professional paper flower artist, known for transforming simple materials into delicate, meaningful handmade creations.
However, it was motherhood that truly reshaped Claire’s perspective.
After having her son and daughter, she began to reflect on how children connect with the world around them. She noticed how much calmer, happier, and more grounded children become when they step away from screens — when they create with their hands, share laughter with others, and feel proud of something real they’ve made themselves. This realization became the heart of Craft Bay.

Drawing on her unique background — digital design, artistic craftsmanship, data-driven thinking, and lived parenting experience — Claire designed Craft Bay as a new kind of creative workshop. One that blends the joy of play with emotional connection, and structure with freedom.
Craft Bay workshops are not about perfect results or technical mastery.
They are about helping children feel confident, joyful, and connected — to their own ideas, to others, and to the real world.
Each workshop is carefully crafted to be playful, thoughtful, and deeply human — gently guiding children away from screen-based entertainment and back to the simple magic of making something by hand.
Let crafts light up our hearts and bring us closer together.
