A penguin family glows at bedtime

About This Workshop

A calm, structured mosaic workshop ideal for mixed-age groups.

Children create their own glowing ocean world using layers of blue and teal glass mosaic tiles on a lamp base — then place penguin families and baby seals on top to build their own Antarctic story.

With many shades of blue, glitter tiles, glass gems, and a collection of miniature figurines, every lamp becomes a one-of-a-kind underwater scene.

The magic moment? When the lamp switches on, light dances through the glass — shadow, glow, and colour transform their creation into something alive.

These aren't just lamps — they're windows into children's imagination.

Every child creates a story, names their penguins, and builds a world only they could dream up.

"Royal Family"

A child built an entire penguin kingdom, with a king, queen, and baby prince on their icy throne.

"Daddy Kiss Mummy"

Two penguin parents lean in for a kiss while their baby watches. A love story told in mosaic and miniatures.

Even at kindergarten age, children can work independently and proudly create a finished piece.

Designed for all ages. Younger children build patterns directly on the lamp — layering tiles and placing figurines as they go. Older children can sketch their design on paper first, planning colour gradients and figure placement before building — creating truly intricate works of art.
