A custom shared identity art experience.
Children explore, imagine and create together around their Room Symbol—or another chosen symbol—to produce a meaningful artwork for their room.
The finished piece stays in the room for display or everyday use, while each child receives a matching personalised bag tag, making their sense of belonging visible, tangible and part of daily life throughout the year.

HOW IT WORKS
A complete mosaic art experience,
thoughtfully designed for young children.
From one chosen symbol to a shared artwork, a personal connection and a year-long room story.

Before The Workshop
Choose Your Symbol
Choose your Room Symbol—either your centre’s existing symbol or one from our collection. Once selected, Craft Bay customises the complete design and prepares all matching acrylic pieces.

Guided group experience
Imagine the Story
Children join a playful imagination activity and explore how colours, mosaic tiles and their chosen symbol can come together to tell an artistic story.

Small-group mosaic making
Create Together
Working in small groups, children take turns choosing and placing mosaic tiles to build the large circular artwork together, guided by the facilitator.

No glue handling for children
Professionally Finished
Craft Bay secures and finishes the completed design. Children may choose to watch the process, but do not need to handle adhesive or grout.

A matching tag for every child
Make It Personal
Each child receives a reusable bag tag featuring the same symbol. With educator support, their name is added, and they can attach it to their bag or drink bottle.

After the workshop
Display It or Use It
Once fully dry, the finished mosaic can be displayed on the wall or placed inside the included rattan tray for everyday use in the room.

A real moment from our 2025 pilot. When the finished artwork returned to the kindergarten, the children gathered around it. With their educators’ permission, they reached out together to touch the collective artwork they had helped create—now complete and ready to become part of their room.

Same-Day Room Series
$450 Second room on the same day
Each room receives its own customised symbol, complete mosaic artwork, rattan tray and matching set of bag tags. This also gives the centre a coordinated series of artworks across different rooms.

The original version of this workshop was successfully delivered across three rooms at a local childcare centre. Children participated calmly and enthusiastically, and the finished pieces were featured in the centre’s Daily Report.
