About This Workshop
A calm, structured music box workshop ideal for mixed-age groups.

Made by children at Riverstone OSHC
Children create their own miniature lakeside world on a real music box base — using blue and white clay to sculpt water, then adding capybaras, ducks, trees, grass, and mosaic tiles to bring their imagination to life.
There's no right or wrong. One child built a waterfall adventure. Another made a spa for a capybara family. Someone else created a safety net to protect baby capybaras from sharks.
When the music plays, their story comes alive.

"We don't teach children what to make. We give them a world to fill — and they fill it with stories we never could have imagined."

"It's about a little capybara riding on a duck, travelling up a waterfall, climbing over a cliff, and finally arriving at a lake to visit her capybara family."
One child turned a handful of clay and figurines into an epic journey — no instructions, just pure imagination.

"The capybaras use mosaics to build a safety guard to protect the baby capybaras from deep water and sharks."
Another child didn't just decorate — they problem-solved. The mosaic tiles became a protective wall in their story.

Same materials, endless stories. Children name scenes, create characters, and invent adventures — each music box becomes a world of its own.
